With a sensitive and affectionate touch, infused with memory and sentiment, the *Calendário_2024* showcases printed records by 12 prominent Bahian photographers – Alba Vasconcelos, Célia Aguiar, Edivalma Santana, Holanda Cavalcanti, Iêda Marques, Isabel Gouvêa, Lúcia Correia Lima, Lucy Lins, Maria Sampaio (in memoriam), Mônica Simões, Rosa Leiro, and Shirley Stolze. First launched 34 years ago in 1990 with the same team of professionals, this calendar is returning to celebrate the art through imagery with a new edition.

Produced and curated once again by friends Lucy Lins and Mônica Simões, the project features design by Dinha Ferrero and the collaboration of Bigraf, also responsible for printing the 1990 calendar. With a print run of 500 copies, the *Calendário_2024* aims to update the images and narratives of the 12 photographers, featuring black-and-white photographs that span the 12 months of the new year with varied subjects and themes, following an authorial line that bridges past and present.

The launch event, with free entry, will feature cuisine by the restaurant La Taperia, run by chef José Morchon and his partner Juli Holler, offering delicious food. The evening will be accompanied by the lively tunes of DJ Pinduka and an unmissable performance by the instrumental group Garagem, consisting of Rowney Scott (sax), Ivan Bastos (bass), and Ivan Huol (drums), with guest appearances by Mou Brasil (guitar) and Luizinho Assis (piano).
