Daniel Lima is an artist, curator, editor, and researcher. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Media and Audiovisual Processes from the University of São Paulo, where he participates in the LabArteMídia laboratory. Since 2001, he has been creating investigative actions in research related to media, racial issues, collective resistances, colonial presence, and geopolitical analyses. He is a founding member of several collectives, including Frente 3 de Fevereiro, with works developed in various cities worldwide. He has received numerous awards in the fields of Visual Arts, Cinema, and Social Studies—recently recognized with the 64th Jabuti Award (2022) as an editor in the “Arts” category. He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, festivals, and seminars. He directs the production company, publisher, and game studio Invisíveis Produções.

Raphael Escobar, bachelor in fine arts at the Centro Universitário Belas Artes in São Paulo and postgraduating in Brazilian Studies: society, education and culture from Fundação Escola de Sociologia e Politica. Since 2008 he has been working with non-formal education in contexts of social vulnerability or political disputes, such as Fundação CASA (a kind of jail for young people and teenagers), Cracolândia (a place in São Paulo with a large concentration of people who use crack and alcohol) and “Albergues“ (Reception service offered by the government for people who live on the streets). The performance in these contexts serve as the research and often an activation of the work that he develops. His research is guided by class relations, intending to dissolve a moral logic of society in relation to people living in the streets, drug users and peripheral groups. In this way, he uses the institutions and their work as tools of promotion and education, mediating spaces inside and outside the circuit. As activators of this mediation, use education strategies, psychoactive substances and actions of an invisible and/or marginalized cultural daily life.
