I come from an initial interest in words and poetry and from an extensive, yet particular, production of texts and poems. In 2013, I began to explore other possibilities for poetry, which include visual arts. In mid-2014, I was invited by curator and gallery owner Maria Montero to join the group of artists represented by Galeria Sé, and a few months later, we mounted my first solo exhibition together, called ‘a poesia venceu’ (poetry won), which addressed the duality of poetry, between being victorious and expired.

In 2016, I had my second solo exhibition called ‘eu:mesmo, outro’ (I:same, other), in which I investigated the functions of the translator, of languages, and of language systems. With installations and works in wood, glass, steel, and paper. In January 2018, I held my last solo exhibition at Galeria Sé, called ‘:háuma,’ which also reflected my research on translation, but in a more personal sphere. Over the past few years, I have also participated in group exhibitions at Galeria Sé, other galleries like Bergamim and Gomide, and cultural spaces like Tofiq House and Instituto Adelina.

I graduated in Communication from FAAP, and alongside my work in visual arts, I work in fashion marketing.
