1978, lives and works at São Paulo
Melissa Stabile was born in Itaporanga, SP, and lives and works in São Paulo. She graduated in Film from FAAP in 2001. Her most recent works, Confortáveis and Planos de Cor, were presented in the Esponja project by artist Yusuf Etiman, Solo Shows (São Paulo, 2015).
In 2015, she taught the workshop Volumetria: Realce de Universos Pessoais at the 15th edition of the Serrinha Art Festival and worked as an assistant to Lenora de Barros on Cordão dos Mentecaptos at Pivô, São Paulo.
She collaborated on 2Fanzine in 2014, created by Dudu Bertolini and Kleber Matheus, contributing Origamis de Vidro.
In 2008, she participated in the exhibition Absolutely Venomous Accurately Fallacious (Naturally Delicious) by AVAF with Medusa’s Mirror at Deitch Projects, NY, and collaborated on Axé Vatapá Alegria Feijão, also by AVAF, at the 28th São Paulo Biennial, with Abacaxi Alado and Teia Neon.
She participated in Mostra 5 at the General Jardim studio, São Paulo, SP, with the Insulfim series in 2007.
